During peace time, military drills are the main way that China's People's Liberation Army gets trained. The place where these drills are held is often called the “war lab” or “near-battlefield”. The PLA military exercise base has a 30-year history, and plays a key role in training the army.

This year marks the 90th anniversary of the PLA. A new video was released to give an inside look of the army training in the drill base.
