April 1 is not just Fool’s Day, every first Saturday of April is also Pillow Fight Day. And to mark the occasion, people around the world geared up, hit the streets, and picked battles with giant, soft bags filled with feathers.

In New York, men and women of all ages, some in costume, gathered in Washington Square Park to launch this annual fight. In the most “violent” areas, white feather filled the sky as if winter decided to stay to watch this event.
