Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has emphasized that any acts that weaken the Iran nuclear deal are unacceptable.
Zarif met with UN officials and Foreign Ministers from Germany, France and British on Thursday. Later, he said on social media the international community has generally recognized that Iran is abiding by the nuclear deal. He said this means the country has the right to enjoy the economic benefits from the deal. Zarif said full compliance from the US should be the premise of Iran's compliance. On Wednesday, the spokesperson for Iran's Atomic Energy Organization, Behrouz Kamalvandi, said if the US will not relieve the sanctions, Iran will consider it a violation of the deal. He said Iran is prepared to respond in every way, including accelerating nuclear activities.
