China's exports up 14.8%, imports up 31.1% in Q1 2017

China's exports in yuan-denominated terms rose 14.8 percent year on year in the first quarter of 2017, while imports increased 31.1 percent, said the country's General Administration of Customs on Thursday. 
Foreign trade volume reached 6.2 trillion yuan (about 902 billion US dollars) in the first quarter, up 21.8 percent year on year.
