We begin in Iran, where 22 people have been killed as anti-government demonstrations continue across the country.
Hundreds of people have been arrested since last Thursday when frustrations over economic hardships and alleged corruption boiled over in the northeastern city of Mashhad. The protests then escalated into calls for the religious establishment in Tehran to step down. State TV reports nine people were killed in Isfahan province during protests on Monday night, including two members of the security forces. Six protesters were killed in Isfahan during an attack on a police station in the town of Qahderijan. The local governor said the protesters were armed.
