China's Gross Domestic Product expanded 6.9 percent year-on-year in the first quarter of 2017, to reach 18.07 trillion yuan (about 2.63 trillion US dollars), said the National Bureau of Statistics on Monday.
China is targeting an annual growth of around 6.5 percent this year.
