Winter Bites China: Heavy snow continues in central, eastern regions

Heavy snow and ice continues to put the chill on central and eastern parts of China. But warm hearts and helping hands keep spirits from freezing over. CGTN's Natalie Pang has more.
Winter bites China, Snow blankets roads. A temperature drop of about 10 degrees Celsius, creates a 130-kilometer ice belt from the shoreline into Liaodong Bay. People relocated, Flights cancelled, Bus lines and railways suspended, leaving many passengers stranded. While the snow continues, There are some pleasant surprises.
MR. HAO DELIVERYMAN "I don't know who did that. The store owner told us that one customer ordered those for us. It's the first time to get an order for our deliverymen. The person spends 167 yuan and orders us 20 cups milk tea. I feel really warm inside."
"No delivery needed. Please send this to sanitation workers or delivery men!" reads the note on the order. Milk tea and porridge hit the spot. In eastern China's Jiangsu province, a policeman lends a hand.
ZHAI HANSEN TAIZHOU TRAFFIC POLICEMAN "If the rear window is covered by snow, it will affect driving safety. When I'm on duty and patrolling, I make sure I'm safe and traffic conditions are safe. Then I'll clean the snow off the cars."
The snow has people grabbing their shovels. Neighbors help neighbors. Soldiers, local residents, and volunteers, all join in.
ZHANG HAILONG, STAFF HENGFA MOVING SERVICE COMPANY, CHANGZHOU "Our boss said, there's no business now, let's clean up the road. Six or seven of us, including our boss, all come out and clear the road."
