The death toll from last week's truck-bomb explosion in the Afghan capital Kabul has exceeded 150, said president Ashraf Ghani on Tuesday, making it the deadliest attack in the city since 2001.
Ghani made the remarks at the opening of the Kabul Process, an international political and security meeting. He also said more than 300 people were wounded in the bombing.
The blast occurred after a sewage truck packed with what Ghani called "military-grade" explosives detonated at the entrance to Kabul's diplomatic zone, that includes embassies and government buildings.
"We were not the only target of this attack," Ghani told foreign diplomats.
A previous official announcement put the death toll at 90.
