The Czech Republic's pro-Russian incumbent President Milos Zeman has won the first round of a presidential election. But he failed to garner enough votes to avoid a run-off. With more than 98 percent of ballots counted, Zeman led with almost 39 percent, followed by Jiri Drahos, a pro-Western academic, on 26 percent. The two candidates will go head-to-head in a second round on January 26th to 27th.
