UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has defended the hard-won nuclear deal with Iran. Guterres said in a statement through a spokesman, that the 2015 nuclear deal, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, is a "major achievement of nuclear non-proliferation and diplomacy, and has contributed to regional and international peace and security".
US President Donald Trump on Friday warned it was the "last chance" to fix the Iran deal. He demanded the agreement be amended to increase restrictions on Iran's missile program. But Iran has insisted that no more negotiations should be held over nuclear-related commitments.
