The Chinese embassy in Harare has urged Chinese citizens in Zimbabwe to be vigilant and take precautions following the political turmoil.
Chinese ambassador to Zimbabwe Huang Ping said the security situation in the African country is still worrisome, as the military may take further action. The ambassador asked Chinese nationals in Harare to stay away from local soldiers and military facilities. He also advised Chinese citizens in Zimbabwe to keep in close contact with the embassy.
