We begin in the Maldives. The political crisis on the tropical islands has risen to a higher level, after heavily armed troops stormed the Supreme Court on Tuesday. They arrested two out of four of the top court's justices. Police have not given details of the operation or pressed charges. This comes after President Abdulla Yameen on Monday declared a 15-day-long state of emergency. The president then arrested his half-brother, former leader of the archipelago Abdul Gayoom.
