US President Donald Trump said on Monday that Iran should never be allowed to have nuclear weapons.

Trump made this remark during his meeting with Israeli President Reuven Rivlin in Jerusalem. "Most importantly, the United States and Israel can declare with one voice that Iran must never be allowed to possess a nuclear weapon - never, ever - and must cease its deadly funding, training and equipping of terrorists and militias, and it must cease immediately," he said.

The US President arrived at Ben-Gurion International Airport on Monday to start his visit in Israel, the second stop of his maiden trip abroad since taking office.

Followed his talk with his Israeli counterpart, Trump visited the Church of the Holy Sepulcher with First Lady Melania in Jerusalem. He will also become the first sitting US president to visit the Western Wall.

Trump had finished his visit in Saudi Arabia on Monday morning where he signed arms deal with the country and gave a speech to Arab and Muslim leaders at a summit in Riyadh during his two-day visit.
