A grand military parade marking the 90th founding anniversary of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) was held at the Zhurihe military training base in northern China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region on Sunday morning.

Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China, president of the People's Republic of China, and chairman of the Central Military Commission, delivered a speech after inspecting the troops and singing the national anthem with the tri-service armed forces.
