Fire breaks out on Hong Kong MTR train, at least 11 injured

At least 11 people were injured after a fire broke out on a train at Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station on Tsuen Wan Line in Hong Kong on Friday evening, reported Hong Kong media.

The incident was caused by a passenger who ignited some dangerous goods, according to Twitter account @mtrupdate, a voluntary online service that provides MTR service information.

Police and firemen have been dispatched to the scene and the dangerous goods have been removed and placed on a platform.
No trains will stop at Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station for the foreseeable future, and trains on Tsuen Wan Line will operate at five minute intervals.
