A United Nations Special Adviser says diplomatic efforts appear to be totally impotent for humanitarian work in Syria.
Speaking in Geneva, Jan Egeland said there hasn't been a single convoy of lifesaving aid reaching civilians in besieged areas in more than two months. The UN Special Advisor called the war in Syria a war of millions of people fleeing their lives every year and said the situation is screaming for a ceasefire.
