French police have raided the headquarters of dairy giant Lactalis over a baby milk salmonella scare. Police and health officials were also searching the factory where the tainted milk was produced. Anger has been growing as 39 children across France, Spain and Greece have fallen sick. Lactalis's own tests had discovered salmonella but it did not report. The contamination was also not revealed until found out by a dehydration tower used to reduce milk in December. The company has since recalled 12 million boxes of powdered baby milk from 83 countries.
