Australians often joke that tourists expect to see kangaroos hopping across the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Well, the joke is on police today when a wallaby led them in an early-morning chase. Video filmed from a pursuing patrol car showed the metre-high wallaby bounce through traffic, and turning onto an expressway. The distressed animal was then captured downtown and is expected to be released back into the wild within days.
