In the afternoon of January the 14th, a speedboat containing twenty-seven Chinese tourists exploded in the sea around Phi Phi Island, in Thailand's Krabi Province.
According to the Chinese embassy in Thailand, 13 Chinese tourists injured in the incident returned home by plane on Wednesday. There are still fourteen people left in the area. Five are being treated in hospitals. Those tourists are in stable condition. The captain also has been seriously injured. Because of that, Thai authorities still need more time before they can publish a final investigation report.
