Chinese President Xi Jinping held talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of the APEC meeting in Da Nang.

The two leaders discussed the Korean peninsula. Xi Jinping also said that China-Russia ties serve as a good international model since they have mutual respect and a cooperation thats a win-win for both sides.

Putin congratulated Xi on the success of the 19th CPC national congress, and said relations with China are a priority for Russia.
