We return with football, as the NFL champion Eagles are back at home in Philadelphia. The squad basking in the glow of their first Super Bowl title, after a scintillating 41-33 victory over the defending champion New England Patriots on Sunday.
Hundreds of fans waited at the city's airport to get a glimpse of their heroes, singing the team's fight song -- "Fly Eagles Fly". Then, the cheers grew even louder when the team's plane touched down. After a few moments, the squad would deplane, with head coach Doug Pederson showing off the Lombardi Trophy, the prized possession that goes to the winner of the big game. Many players and coaches brought out their cell phones to capture the moment. This is just the beginning of the celebrations for the Eagles, as the city of Philadelphia will hold a parade for the team Thursday -- and it will include a stop at the famous art museum's "Rocky Steps", from the boxing movies.
