Morocco’s King Mohammed VI postpones Mali visit

The Moroccan King’s visit to Mali has been postponed to an undecided later date, with no reasons given for the cancellation.
The announcement was made via a tweet posted by the Malian presidency, saying that the postponement was “due to a decision on the part of Morocco.”

King Mohammed VI’s was scheduled to visit Mali in his tour around Africa.
Morocco is on a mission to strengthen South-South partnerships and revamp mutual ties with the rest of the African countries.
The North African country was re-admitted into the African Union earlier this month after King Mohammed VI conducted a strong campaign across the continent to rally nations to help re-admit it into the continental body.

On Monday, King Mohammed VI and Zambia's President Edgar Chagwa Lungu chaired the signing ceremony of 19 governmental and economic partnership agreements between the two countries.
