Chinese tech giant Huawei said at a tech summit in Beijing on Monday that it has carried out tests at the world's largest 5G testing ground in the capital's Huairou district.

The tests were part of the second stage of a three-stage test process established in 2013 to coordinate efforts by China's leading mobile service operators, manufacturers and research institutes to develop 5G technology.
