China has initiated anti-dumping and anti-subsidy investigations into US sorghum imports, saying the products unfairly hurt the domestic industry.
The Ministry of Commerce released a statement on Sunday, saying it is investigating whether the US is exporting sorghum at improperly low prices. The ministry said parties involved can register to take part in investigations. It also said it will take a survey of sorghum growers in the US and China, as well as US exporters and Chinese importers.
