China's Foreign Minister is in Chile to improve ties between China and Latin America. Wang Yi will discuss trade and cooperation at the second ministerial meeting of the China-CELAC forum on Monday.

Wang says China wants to work with Latin American countries to improve connectivity and infrastructure and welcomes the region's participation in the Belt and Road Initiative. China has also offered to help tackle global challenges, such as climate change.
