Middle East Investment: Saudi Arabia to constuct $500bn international industrial zone

Saudi Arabia has announced a plan worth half a trillion US dollars to contruct a business and industrial zone which extends into neighboring Jordan and Egypt. The 26-and-a-half-thousand square-kilometer area will focus on industries, such as energy and water, bio-technology, food, advanced manufacturing and entertainment. The project's first phase is expected to be completed by 2025.
