We are already halfway through the Two Sessions in Beijing, and it has been a roller-coaster, with non-stop events and press conferences, and all the excitement of covering the biggest political meeting in China.

You have already met CGTN’s team at the Two Sessions: Robert Lawrence Kuhn, Martina Fuchs, Robert Nagila, Tian Wei and John Goodrich. But reporting the Two Sessions has involved a much larger group of people and has been truly a teamwork effort.

For every report and post on social media, at least three editors on our New Media team have lent a hand: to compile information, ensure the accuracy of the report and get it out as quickly as possible. The team’s dedication and hard work during the Two Sessions has often meant that editors have had to skip meals.
