Turkish Operation in Syria: Ankara asks US for concrete steps in ending support for YPG

Turkish foreign minister Mevlut Cavusoglu has urged Washington to take concrete steps to end support for the Syrian Kurdish YPG militia. He also said the US needs to withdraw from northern Syria's Manbij region immediately.
Earlier, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Turkish forces would take the fight all the way east, including to Manjib. Meanwhile, Ankara has also confirmed that Washington would not provide the YPG in Syria with weapons anymore. This comes as Turkey's offensive against the US-backed YPG in Syria enters its eighth day.
