A group of gunmen have attacked a military academy in Kabul, marking the latest violence that has hit the Afghan capital.
Attackers targeted the Marshal Fahim Military Academy on the outskirts of the city. The academy hosts the majority of training schools for the Afghan National Army. Three soldiers were wounded in the attack, while no immediate information has been released on the possible number of casualties. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
The attack came only two days after an explosives-laden ambulance blew up in a busy street in the city, killing 103 people, and injuring more than 230.
