Turkey's Foreign Minister pushes efforts to end Qatar dispute

Turkey's Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu is visiting Saudi Arabia to hold talks on the Qatar dispute, as the rift between Qatar and a Saudi-led bloc enters its second week. 

Cavusoglu earlier said that Turkey expects the Saudi King Salman to lead an effort to resolve the crisis, adding that embargoes and sanctions can't resolve regional problems. 

During his visit to Kuwait to push mediation efforts, Cavusoglu said allegations that Qatar supports Iran are untrue.
