The United Nations World Food Program (WFP) said on Wednesday that two new locations in the northern city of Raqqa, Syria, have been reached for food deliveries using newly opened roads, avoiding costly air drops.
Food deliveries are expected to arrive every month, benefiting nearly 200,000 people in hard-to-reach camps.
People displaced by continued fights finally saw trucks full of food arrive for the first time in three years.
