Saudi Arabia's King Salman is in Indonesia this week as part of a visit to various southeast Asian countries, as he looks to discuss various areas of cooperation. This is the first visit to Indonesia by a Saudi Arabian leader since 1971. A delegation of 1,500 people accompanied the monarch, who is expected to pledge 25 billion US dollars in investment in Indonesia.
Salman says both nations will work together to combat terrorism, with eradicating ISIL the immediate priority. Meetings will also be held regarding the oil and gas industries, and education.
