Zhou has earned 9 university degrees in the past 35 years, including two postgraduate and three doctoral degrees. China Word Records Association has named him as the one with the most degrees in the world. He has been branded as a “world geek."

“I studied 14 hours per day in my 20s. Even if I started to work later on, I insisted studying 6 hours on the daily basis,” Zhou said. “Half of my life has been spent in studying, apart from the time I've spent sleeping.”

Zhou had studied in four colleges and universities, majoring in Chinese medicine study and economic management. He is the first to publish the first doctor research paper about traditional Chinese medicine in sub-health therapy in an international research magazine.

“When I was a child, my family was so poor. I believe in the old saying that ‘only studying can change my life,'" said Zhou.
