Over in South Korea, the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympic flame made its way to one of the county's most treasured sporting venues. Taekwondowon is dubbed the home of the Korean martial art Taekwondo, hosting the World Championships last June. And to greet the flame, were some younger practitioners keen to show their skills in one of the county's most popular traditions.
This is local, Kim Ho-yeop who's so delighted to be given the flame he starts to impersonate Grace Kelly in Singing in the Rain by jumping and clicking his heels together. Such behaviour, however, wouldn't wash with these mean looking kids though who, after showing off some pattern work, showcase their kicking ability. Beijing Olympic gold medalist, Hwang Kyung-seon then receives the torch in the complex's town, Muju. The 31-year-old carries it though the centre before passing on responsibilities to the bearer for the next part of the relay which goes through Jeonju later today.
