Despite that late equalizer from Beijing Guoan in the dying seconds, it was a good night for Guangzhou R&F's Israeli forward Eran Zahavi who continued his rich vein of form by increasing his goal tally to nine at the workers stadium.
We take a closer look at the man whose performances this season have been bigger than his modest profile.
After dropping two points in stoppage time, Guangzhou R&F failed to break their win less record in Beijing. The capital's club have ran out winners in all five previous meetings at the Workers Stadium. Eran Zahavi and his team-mates were seconds away from all three points and more importantly, closing the gap on city rivals Evergrande.

"I think we played better than Beijing, we could scored to make it 3-1 or 3-nil before we considered goals, I think they push us back too much, but the result it is not right one," Eran Zahavi remarked.
The match kicked off at the earlier time of 6 p.m and the Israeli forward was the first one out the traps after a drab opening half. The former Palmero man neatly increased his tally of the season to nine shortly after the re-start to keep his place at the top of the scoring charts.
"I am happy with my numbers with my goals, but I think my teammates help me a lot," Zahavi said after the match. "We play good football also today we controlled the game, when I get chances try to score to do my best."

The Israel international will be itching to get back on the pitch with his scoring boots firmly laced on for the visit of Shanghai Shenhua where a certain Carlos Tevez could be lining up for the visitors. Considering what imports are being paid in the CSL, Zahavi is considerably lower in the scale than the Argentinian, but few wouldn't argue his performances have been worth a fortune compared to the big money man.
