We end with a farewell to French rock star Johnny Hallyday. Fans lined the streets of Paris on Saturday to say goodbye to the man who brought American-style rock 'n' roll to conservative post-war France.
Hallyday was a life-long biker, and hundreds of Harley-Davidson riders accompanied his coffin down the Champs Elysees. Though relatively unknown elsewhere, Hallyday was a huge star in the French-speaking world, known as the "French Elvis".
President Emmanuel Macron and former President Nicolas Sarkozy attended the funeral.
