Movies have shown us the Flubber Mobile and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and AeroMobil is finally bringing fiction to reality. The Slovakian company is scheduled to launch a flying car at the Monaco Supercar Show on April 20.
The vehicle, under development since 1990, converts from aircraft to car. It affords users the option to drive on land or pilot in the air.
With two seats and powered by hybrid propulsion, it combines aero and car functionality seamlessly and will become the first commercially available flying car.
The company will take pre-orders this year, although it hasn’t confirmed the price yet.
