17 people dead after road accident in western India

At least 17 people have been killed and one injured after a truck collided with a jeep in Rajasthan's Hanumangarh district in west India on Friday, local police said.
Police added that the jeep was terribly overcrowded when the accident took place.
The injured person has been hospitalized, and the police has launched an investigation into the cause.
