Parts of China remain on alert for heavy snow.
The National Meteorological Center estimates 10 to 20 centimeters of snow may fall in parts of Anhui, Hubei, Hunan, Chongqing, Jiangxi and Zhejiang. Heavy snow hit central and eastern China, causing delays and cancellations for trains and flights.
Rail authorities canceled several trains from Beijing to Shanghai and other snowy cities. Heavy snow and ice have disrupted traffic for the past two days at the border of China's Zhejiang Provinces. Hunan, Guizhou and Jiangxi are bracing for more frozen precipitation.
