Chinese vice premier to attend BFA annual conference

Chinese Vice Premier Zhang Gaoli will attend the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) annual conference this week in the southern province of Hainan, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying announced Monday. 
Hua said that Zhang would deliver a keynote speech at the opening ceremony Saturday.
Foreign guests to attend the annual conference include President of Madagascar Hery Rajaonarimampianina, Micronesian President Peter M. Christian, Nepal's Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Afghan Meshrano Jirga President Fazal Hadi Muslimyar, and Myanmar's Vice President U Myint Swe.
The four-day BFA Annual Conference 2017, themed “Globalization & Free Trade: The Asian Perspectives,” is to be held from March 23 to 26 in Boao, Hainan. The opening ceremony will be held on March 25.
