Mayon Volcano Eruption: Philippines declares'calamity' in Albay

Now for an update on the eruption of Mount Mayon. The Philippines has placed Albay province under a state of calamity. The lava has already reached as far as 2 kilometers. The Philippines Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said it recorded nine more tremors after Tuesday's eruption.
More than 34-thousand villagers have been evacuated. Officials have designated a danger zone of a 7-kilometer radius around Mayon.
