In France, police reinforcements have arrived in the northern port city of Calais after clashes among migrants injured 22 people on Thursday. The country's interior minister said the fighting was the most intense in recent times, before blaming migrant traffickers and organized gangs.
Thousands of refugees from Africa and the Middle East lived in the notorious Jungle camp in Calais before authorities tore it down in 2016. However, it's believed that about 600 migrants are still camping in the port city, hoping to cross into Britain via the Channel Tunnel.
