Scarecrows have inspired a handful of horror movies because, well… they’re meant to be scary. But in east China’s Zhejiang Province, these effigies are rather endearing. /VCG Photo

Five sets of custom-designed scarecrows were captured sitting in a rapeseed flower field in Dayun County, adding some fun and refreshing elements to the scene. /VCG Photo
