Dutch King in China: Chinese President Xi meets King Willem-Alexander

Chinese President Xi Jinping and his wife Peng Liyuan have met with Dutch King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima, who are on a two-day visit to China. President Xi said the two countries agreed to build a comprehensive partnership when he met the king during his 2014 Europe tour. He added that their bilateral relations have never been better, that the countries stand at a new starting point and face fresh opportunities for development. The Dutch King said the Belt and Road Initiative can bring more mutually-beneficial opportunities for his country.
