Rocket Technology: Chinese Long March 11 rocket carries six satellites into space
[]
China has sent six satellites into space on board a Long March 11 carrier rocket. The mission marks the first time that a Chinese solid-propellant rocket has been used to service an international client. The Long March 11 blasted off at Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwestern China. Two earth-observation satellites made by a State-owned firm, three experimental satellites owned by private companies, and an unidentified Canadian satellite were on board.
