The DPRK team has raised their national flag on the Olympic Village Plaza in Gangneung earlier this morning. This is one of the high-profile events on the eve of the Pyeongchang games. DPRK officials, athletes and cheerleaders were wearing team uniform in red, white and blue, the colors on the DPRK national flag. Its military band played the Korean folk song Arirang at the ceremony. The two-hundred-member cheerleading squad and military band have arrived last night and attended a welcome dinner held by South Korean Unification Ministry.
