The US Federal Reserve is expected to raise interest rates at its two-day meeting this week. Analysts say conditions are suitable for the move but it won't be all done in one go.
Kevin Kelly, CIO of Recon Capital Partners, said rising inflation and market expectations are the two reasons driving up the interest rates. According to Lakshman Achuthan, COO of the Economic Cycle Research Institute, raising interest rates is a necessary action, which yet must take time.
