We begin in Zimbabwe, where soldiers have reportedly blocked thousands of protesters as they tried to march on embattled President Robert Mugabe's official residence in Harare.
Tens of thousands of people have flooded the streets in a mass anti-Mugabe rally. Liberation war veterans, activists and ruling party leaders are calling for President Mugabe to step down, following the military takeover. Negotiations are reportedly underway, with the 93 year old leader asking for "a few more months" in office.
