In east and central China, power supply has gradually been restored following recent heavy snow. Over eight hundred power supply circuits in east China's Jiangxi Province were covered by Saturday, leaving 280-thousand households in the dark. Heavy snow also damaged various electric power facilities in Hubei Province. Over 90 percent of the power supply there has now been restored. Meanwhile, Anhui Province authorities said more than 4 thousand people were evacuated due to the snow. The harsh weather has led to an economic loss of over 300 million yuan for Anhui alone.
