All those who were arrested in connection with the London terror attack have been released without charge, police said late Monday.

Three attackers rammed a van into pedestrians on London Bridge and stabbed others nearby on Saturday night before police shot them dead.

Police arrested 12 people, seven women and five men, on Sunday following the attack, which killed seven and injured 48 people.

England's National Health Service said 36 people remained in hospital, with 18 in a critical condition.

Police have named two of the three attackers.

They said Pakistan-born Khuram Butt, 27, London, had been known to police and Britain's domestic spy agency MI5 but there had not been any intelligence about an attack.

The other attacker was Rachid Redouane, 30, who police said had claimed to be Moroccan-Libyan.
